With Resume Face Sheet, you can add additional
fields such as Text box, Checkbox,Radio Buttons, etc., to the forms (Face sheet fields added will appear in the Extended tab of Requirement
Manager, Search Filter
and Resume Manager)
in HireCraft. For instance, you might require additional fields like 'Textbox'
for entering candidate's Notice Period and checkbox, Radio Buttons for
choosing one or more options, which aren't available as part of standard
fields in HireCraft application. In this case you can add those fields
for storing or search those information as well.
Let's assume you require additional fields in forms (i.e. Requirement Manager, Search Filter and Resume
Manager) ,
for instance see sample figure .
To create fields as in sample
figure, review the instructions below:
Navigate to menu Setup
-> Face Sheet, and click Resume Face Sheet to invoke the form
as in picture below:
Enter
the following information in the respective columns:
Question - Enter
question like for example: Notice Period
Tag - Type
the tag for example: NoticePeriod
Note: Whatever you enter in this column are case sensitive, meaning
wherever you are going to use this tag must match the case entered here.
You will also need to add this tag as a field in Database of HireCraft.
Warning: Please consult the System administrator in your organization
or the Customer Support Center of HireCraft before you plan to add these
fields to the database. We recommend please call our Technical Support
Executive on the designated numbers, who will do the needful for you.
Type - Select
the type of field from the drop-down list, that you would like for your
question.
Click here to learn more about the fields which are supported in
this version of HireCraft
Answer Data - Enter options followed by semicolon.
See the sample as in figure below
Note: You
need to enter answer values here, only if you have selected Checkbox or
Radio Buttons as fields
Default Value - Enter the value which will be automatically
included in the Textbox field by default .
Note: This value works only with Text field
Notes - Optionally
you can enter the notes about
the field you are creating, and this is just for your information only.
Additionally you need to align fields on form by entering values of
width,height,sequence of fields and X,Y co-ordinates
Control
Width * - Enter 150 as width
of field
Control Height -
Enter
25 as height of field, which is ideal
Question
Width * - Enter 100 as width
of question/label
Question Height - Enter 20 as height of Question/label, which
is ideal
Seq No -
leave this as is, unless you want to change
the order fields appearance. For example if you want the Candidate Name
to appear in the second line then enter the sequence number as 2. Similarly
follow that same for others
X-Axis - X-Axis
refers to the coordinates of fields on the form, i.e. from left to right.
You can always enter value as 0 here, since the fields are generally aligned
from left.
Y-Axis - Y-Axis
refers to the coordinates of fields on the form, i.e. from Top to Bottom.
Except for the first field value as 0, every subsequent field's
value should be double the previous value. For instance, if the second
field value is 30 then the third field's Y-axis value should be 60, and
the fourth one 90...so on. This will ensure the uniformity of gap between
each field.

Depending on the length of the question you may need to increase or decrease
the values, to prevent questions/labels from breaking or exceeding the
ideal length. You can preview the look and feel of labels and fields,
by pressing Save button first
and then pressing Preview button
on the toolbar
Repeat
the above step for subsequent fields, till you get the output as in figure
:
Tips: You can preview the appearance
of fields on form, by pressing Preview button on the toolbar |
